Partnership

CLEANTEX partnership brings together 8 institutions from 6 European countries with complementary profiles and competencies. The partnership includes universities, training centres, technological centres and non-profit institutions.

Kauno Techonlogijos Universitetas (KTU)

Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is the largest technical university in the Baltic States. More than 10000 students study and more than 1000 academic staff and researchers work in the university. University has been established in 1922 and since 1932 have studies in textile engineering. All three levels of studies in textile and fashion engineering are in the KTU – bachelor, master and doctoral. Since this time more than 3000 textile engineers, bachelors or masters, and more than 100 doctors graduate textile studies in KTU. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Design is only one in Lithuania, which have the studies of Textile Engineering.

KTU is a member of international Association of Universities for Textiles (AUTEX, office in Ghent, Belgium) and Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association (LATIA). KTU in textile sector has several individual cooperation agreements each year in the field of R&D and education with SME’s. Several projects financed by EU, Lithuanian Government or industrial companies are generated in each year.

AEI Tèxtils

AEI TÈXTILS is the Catalan technical textiles’ cluster with a non-profit association structure. Its mission is to promote innovation with the aim of improving the competitiveness of its members, as well as cooperation, complementarity and communication among them.

Its members comprise SMEs of the whole manufacturing chain of technical textiles, universities, research centers, textile trade associations and other kind or organizations related to the field.

   

Centro Italiano per l’Apprendimento Permanente (CIAPE)

CIAPE is a non profit private organisation, which exists as an Association of Learners to promote the development of a learning society through the provision of a quality and comprehensive system of adult learning and education which is accessible and inclusive.

Creative Thinking Development (CRE.THI.DEV)

Is a non profit company, not for benefit, which focuses on resea­rch, as well as development of studies and action plans for local communities, mainly in the fields of life-long learning, environmental protection, innovation, employment and local development, health, athletics and culture.

The company was created with the vision to offer to a wide range of recipients and beneficiaries, reliable and comprehensive proposals and business advice, to cover every need, to improve the competitiveness of their position and to achieve sustainable economic development.

 

 

Ecole Nationale Superieure Arts Industries Textiles (ENSAIT)

ENSAIT trains dynamic and versatile textile engineers who master the most innovative techniques. Its research laboratory, GEMTEX, is the 1st French textile research laboratory and the 5th European textile research laboratory.

 

Univerza v Ljubljani

The University of Ljubljana (UL) is the oldest and largest higher education and scientific research institution in Slovenia, founded in 1919. It has about 41,000 students and about 6,000 employs in 23 faculties and three art academies. UL is renowned for its quality social and natural sciences and technical study programmes, structured in accordance with the Bologna Declaration. UL is ranked among the top 600 universities by the Academic Ranking of World Universities.

Parco Scientifico Tecnologico per l’ambiente (ENVIPARK)

Environment Park is the Science and Technology Park dedicated to the environment established in Torino in 2000. Environment Park works to promote sustainable innovation and to support companies to invest in clean technologies. Its activities are divided into two business units: Innovation services and Real Estate services. Within Innovation services it provides expert technical advice in Cleantech related areas: Energy efficiency and green construction, Green Chemistry, Advanced Energy Systems , Plasma threats, technology transfer for Clean Industrial solutions.

Acondicionamiento terrasense (LEITAT)

Leitat is a private non-profit organization expert in offering disruptive solutions to the technological needs of companies and entities, with a clear orientation towards generating competitive value and a sustainable future.

The centre manages technologies to create and transfer social, environmental, economic and industrial sustainable value for companies and entities through research and technology processes.
